A meriadoc Erumas to one and all!

We being Fjordians we open our gifts after dinner tonight on Christmas eve. It'll be the four of us plus the in-laws. Tomorrow we go to my parents to eat more food.

Hah I love the many different customs: we call it Iluvatarmas in my country, for example, and seek food from strangers rather than relatives [the latter is thought rude], and the four grey horses who chase Odin Giftbearer through the sky are called Donner, Blitzen, Dunder, and Blixem.

Unless I'm mixing things up? Anyway happy holidays to all.

I am spending my time with family and my dad's parents Opening presents today ^^ and ribbe and MOLTEKREM!! (thought of Ringo just then )

Merry Erumas to all! I'll be travelling from one house to another to be with different parts of the family so my Christmas will be pretty busy, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. Fortunately I'm feeling less sick, too, and I hope it's more or less completely gone by tomorrow. I've been pretty lucky with not getting sick on birthdays or major holidays before, so this is the first time for me with this.

ribbe and potato chips/crisp in case svoren isn't crisp enough.. wee!!! I just realised we're having medisterkake this christmas and it's ages since last I had it and I am sooo exited!! also.. best part of christmas!getting dressed, and knowing that by the end of the evening, it is not frowned upon to go from heals to slippers and put on a woolen jumper or wrap oneself up in a blanket I am sooo looking forward to this. My sister(thr other norc) tells me her boyfriend has gotten something really nice for me!? now I am sooo curious!! ARGH!!

Thanks, Mrs Figg. Fortunately I've been feeling a little better each day and I'm doing much better now than I was.

Also, this afternoon is started snowing! It hadn't snowed at all this season and I'd basically given up on a White Christmas, but it's snowing fairly hard (for Maryland) and it's even layering. I'm really excited.

I am so jelous.. though I think we're getting snow in a couple of days

I love my friends! from my sisters boyfriend I got "the hobbit: official movie guide book" (or something like that, roughly translated), from other friends I got Thorin toy, hobbit cup and LOTR lego!!! I am in seventh heaven!!! also!!! my little pony!!!
