Hi everyone I am Kafria's daughter and I am only 11 (nearly 12!). I got a bit tired of the laptop being stolen from me so I saw all the goings on of the forum being taken down etc etc. I haven't actually read TH or LOTR even though it as been suggested several times by mum! I do however like Doctor Who and Harry Potter and Narnia. I have read up to Order of the Phoenix in Harry Potter and read a bit of Narnia. You might have seen my random 'hi' post on Eldorion's website! Glad to finaly be a part of THM forum! Very Happy cheers bounce

I like your avatar, my neighbour owns a horse and I did a bit of horse riding myself a long time ago, is your picture of any particular horse?

Harry Potter is the bomb. Very Happy It was the first book series I really got into. I like some of the Narnia books, and Petty is trying to make me watch Dr Who now. Laughing Fortunately we talk about enough different things that one doesn't really have to have read TH or LOTR, though I'd recommend it, of course. Cool

I noticed your post on the temporary thread, and it's cool to see you here too! I was 12 when I first joined a forum, but you appear to be much more eloquent than I was then. Razz

RESPECTABILITY GOES OUT THE WINDOW

Word has just reached my pricking ear that a Young Girl has joined the Hobbit Movie Forum (AKA Hobbit Refugees Forum). Though this is clearly reason for Much Rejoicing, sadly, the said Lassie HASN"T EVEN READ TOLKIEN.

Odo R. Banks, Custodian of Respectability in Forumshire released this statement (from hiding).

"Well, I suppose they'll be letting in Glee Fans next!"

In spite of that, The Archet Bugle extends the warmest and friendliest of Welcomes, Squach. As is well known, a sound knowledge of Tolkien is not a prerequisite for coming here. We're not a Stuffy Forum, no way. bom

My roommate watches Glee, which pretty much means that I watch Glee too unless I have my headphones in or happen to be out for some reason. Very Happy Which actually is the case a fair bit since I'm not really a fan of musicals in general, though Glee seems decent to me.

In case anyone is interested, (and not doing spam-a-thons) I can play the violin as well. I am up to my Grade 2 and hopefully by the end of this year, I should have gotten my Grade 3! I have been playing since I was 7 afro Smile

Never gotten Glee (which is good because if I'd had I'd be a complete addict- I'm like that) but seriously, grade 2 violin? On the verge of grade 3? That's great! I had always imagined violin to be hard, which was partly based on the fact that I have a friend who played it for 7 years and only is grade 2 herself! So it's not just science that runs in the family...! Very Happy

Obviously as a Scotshobbit I can play the bagpipes, the chanter, the penny whistle, the cat, haggis (percussion and string), and those rubber shower attachments you got in the 70's that you put onto the bath taps. Very Happy

"oh God, why?"- Eldo

You know how some things only ever seem like a good idea at unexpected parties? Well imagine your at an unexpected party, and then imagine you are so drunk on buckie its impossible to count the Eldos and you have a sudden desire to dance and make music. But alas no instrument, no pipes. So you have some more buckie to think it through and some of that stuff GB puts in his pipe, and then a cat appears over the neighbours wall. Well suddenly its seems like one of those things that are only ever a good idea at an unexpected party...and I was at an unexpected party so it must be a good idea. See? Perfect buckie logic. Wink
