Let's see... he turned into a mare to stop a horse, can't recall why the moment, and he is therefore the mother of Sleipner, Odin's eightlegged horse.
He's the father of Hel, the middleearth serpent and the wolf Fenris.
Funny that Lauvøy is male in the movie though. Not to mention the pronunciation.
