My step-mom used to breed Bostons a long time ago so I just defer to her judgement, especially since I've never been a dog person.

i love how the briard (taisko) gets super happy and exiting. typical herding dog thinking "yes! a mystery!! i got a job to do!"
edit: the golden-husky type thing Azriel is a finish spitz-hound
and yes, they are smart and stubborn dogs and are naturally a bit suspicious and cautious of everything new (lots of guard dog in them)
also the guy is finnish.. (that's teh beautiful language tolkien loved so much he wanted elves to speak that way

As for the general reactions, they mostly seem to jump to the conclusioon that it must have fallen on the floor. And when finding it hasn't reacts with either suspicion and/or annoyance. All of which seem quite logical to me.
It's certainly interesting to see how their personalities affects their reaction.

so Leopold, my dog, has had this kinda tumour thing (not cancer, just like a giant wart thing, but it is filled with blood and puss) and it has just burst and he ate it and it is bleeding and it is hurting him and i think he might need stitches but it is like late and the vet's not open and ewww it is super gross..
