Cruel and I suspect illegal too.
I always thought it would be a great idea to geneticly alter a dog to remain a puppy for a couple of months and then naturally die- I could market it under the slogan-

Leopold is lovely ! He doesnt mind the snow does he, but, of course hes used to it,where you live ! My cats hate even a slight dampness of rain & look at me as if to say "your NOT putting me out in THAT you bitch !"

well, there is a reason he wears socks. His fur sucks up all the snow and he gets these lumps of snow between his toes, which hurt quite a bit. also on the underside and between his legs he ends up looking like a cauliflower. but yeah, he loves the snow, his coat is just a tiny bit impractical

I love that you call him a cauliflower ! His fur does look silky, & yeah, snow CAN be very painful,especially when it clumps._________________

it's actually not that silky, more raggedy like a goat (just a bit softer) and more wooly underneath(the undercoat), like a lama. His our sheep. We collect the fur when we brush him, and the undercoat is the wooly part and feels like well.. lama fur idk, and the fibres are so long (10-15 cm) that mixed with regular wool it can make really good knitting wool.

yeah, we haven't gotten any further than to just collect it 
Leopold is just the best. We walked around in the deep snow and sniffed hare-tracks, but after a while he got tired of trudging the snow and started walking in my tracks. Though he felt i was walking too slowly and started jumping on me.

Dont think my cats love me much, unless Im feeding them or otherwise obeying their commands- but then I suppose youd expect me to have crabbit cats.

i think my dog loves me, but erm.. it's kind of a violent love he grabs my arm and if he miscalculate he could end up hitting his teeth on a knuckle (which hurt) or aim for my armpit and .. erm.. hit my boob. i don't want that.
