- Spoiler:
- I said Tywin, not Tyrion. But both Arya and Tyrion survive, yes. But you really don't want the whole thing spoiled for you, trust me.

I'm glad you do. There's still lots to come, for both better and worse, but if you've liked Game of Thrones so far I'm sure you'll like season 4 as well.
Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
something I was wondering about, as it wasnt clear to me,
- Spoiler:
- why is Bran going North on his own? where is he going and why? if he was trying to find Jon, he just missed him. couldnt work that one out

- Spoiler:
- Meera and especially her brother Jojen are mystics who believe Bran's dreams are significant, and the only way to find out the meaning is at or beyond the Wall. I have to admit I don't find the resolution of this storyline to be very satisfying, but it's sure to become important in the book that's still being written.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
thanks Halfy I am gearing myself up to begin reding them again. I got half way through the first one then stopped, I think its because I was on Holiday in the mountains of Tyrol at the time, its full of Trolls and legends like in the books and the landscape is very mysterious, I got a bit spooked by the atmosphere and stopped enjoying the Sunshine , every castle I visited I imagined like the Eerie, it was a right party pooper.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
I've said before that A Storm of Swords is the best fantasy novel to be published since The Lord of the Rings. I'm glad the first season based on it has gotten such a good reception.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Stannis is a humorless twat where-ever you find him. But I wouldn't describe him so much as a twat as morally rigid.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
I have noticed that Danaerys clothes have changed colour, the more powerful she gets the deeper the colour. when we first see her she is wearing an almost transparent silver dress, then when she finds her Dragons she goes to light blue, then a turquoise blue, and now she is wearing a deep cobalt blue. I reckon by the time she gets to be Queen she will be wearing something like a rich Saphire.

That's a very interesting statement Halvsie, all the more reason for getting a hair cut off the front of your dear face. Is that lipstick and eye liner you are wearing?
And who lives in the rest of the apartment?I wonder about that. Is the closet rustic because it was made that way, not that clean and orderly or the apartment is rather old?
