I wish everyone from Bree-land the best of luck in preserving your community. I haven't been as active there (or online in general) but I had a great time when I was posting there. If we can help you guys stick together in any way I'd love to (Orwell is right on that point, at least).

Well I must admit it is quite cozy here in the Shire, and I hope that nice Mr. Sinister decides to stay here as well cos us Breelanders should stick together. I hope that a certain young Norwegian hobbit lass joins us too, that would be nice. i talked to her and she said forumshire looked a bit complicated, and I said I know, but you get used to it after a bit, and that I thought it was huge when I first saw it, rather like Biffos er.. forehead.

Good to see Norc here. You mentioned "Bree refugees" somewhere, Mrs Figg... Aahhhh! That brings it all back. One of the suggested names for this wondrous place was "Hobbit Movie Refugees." I'm feeling both nostalgic for those heady times and as mad as a hornet all over again!

{{{Actually, Mrs Figg, and you mustn't let Petty know I said this, but I think the Dark Lord Taz's Evil Takeover was just the spur we needed to break free and be ourselves - our several selves, in some cases! I'm not thanking Taz in any way though! His Evil must always be resisted! I have no proof, but I think it was him upsetting things in Bree. A technical glitch --- yeah right! I suspect the worst!!! And even if Taz is not responsible for your problems in Bree, I still blame him, on principle!}}}

Well i hope it is just a technical glitch and nothing more sinister, and i am glad we could gather in a few of the lost Breelanders here in the Shire, I would like them all to wander here but its doubtful everyone will follow. its a shame a real shame if it all goes tits up.

I just checked Bree-land and there's someone called "Kendalf" posting there, but he or she is not using a Facebook-linked account. Personally I couldn't figure out how to register at all without using Facebook. On the flip side, the benefit of Facebook Connect is that it's easy to find everyone through Facebook and then message them that way, as opposed to not knowing anyone's contact information.

My curiosity was piqued by this Kendalf character so I did a bit of snooping for you guys. Here to help!

Consider it an early Christmas present from me on behalf of Forumshire to our cousins from Bree.

Appeasement leftie talk is what it is Eldo! We finally trap, erm invite in and get to stay -and they even post- some new folks from Bree and you are helping them go home!! How do you stay in charge?

I'm thrilled whenever new people come by here and I'd love it if any Bree-landers decided to stick around here (such as the lovely Mrs Figg has already done). On the other hand, I remember what it's like to lose your own forum. I guess I can't help being a nice guy.
