Re: What's on your desktop?
My favorite was Bloom County, but it was too topical to be timeless, or international. Calvin and Hobbes will never fade.

Photobucket's fuckery ruins the first two pages of yet another thread.
Anyway, bumping this since I just changed my wallpaper for the first time in several months (click for full size):

Re: What's on your desktop?
I'm too lazy to change my wallpaper, and I don't actually have a computer desk (little point in buying one when you have a small chromebook, not a big PC)...so that's my interesting contribution to this thread

Re: What's on your desktop?
I miss having a computer desk, but my current room is too small to fit one in. I have a 15" laptop but fortunately it's not too heavy for its size. And thanks to my time on forums, I have plenty of practice with typing 1000+ words at a time while lying on my bed with it next to or on top of me. I go to the library sometimes but their hours of operation and the times of day when I tend to be most productive don't overlap that much.
Re: What's on your desktop?
{{My desktop is a mess - not had the time to sort it out for a week or so, hence its still got pictures I downloaded for the NotP press guys, and a bunch of Terragen saved project as well as renders, some Hitfilm video editing project saves, there's game shortcuts, all sorts- total mess! }}}

Re: What's on your desktop?
Ah. That would've been my second guess since it looked a bit like some of the screenshots I've seen of Bain's Skyrim mods but I (clearly) wasn't sure.
Re: What's on your desktop?
{{ I grab snapshots when gaming of stuff that catches my eye as I go, so I have folder of game screenshots and just set the desktop to slideshow- its currently changed to this- if you dont already can be worth clicking on the image to go to the upload site and see it there in full resolution- doesn't do the games or mod authors work justice in the resolution it shows it here}}

I continue to be really impressed by both Bethesda and the people who make these mods and texture packs.

Re: What's on your desktop?
Some time last year my computer changed the desktop on its own to one of the default backgrounds. Don't know why it did this, but I haven't been bothered by it enough to change it.

Re: What's on your desktop?
Until today I hadn't changed my desktop since my last update in this thread some 14 months ago, which I'm pretty sure shatters whatever my previous record for longest-lasting wallpaper was. However, I feel like mixing things up so I'm now using a photo I took back in June (though the blues are more vivid here than in the original thanks to some filter recommended by Google Photos at the time).
