To be honest, Odo, I do think Petty and Kafria have gone well beyond what's acceptable, "family friendly-wise". Maybe we both should complain to Eldo and Baingil (who, I might say, are conspicuous by their absence ).

I knew you'd come around, Orwell. I've always thought of you as an intelligent kind of hobbit, full of potential, and with a good heart, a clear mind and plenty of good ideas, especially on Educational matters. It's you who should train as a Teacher, I believe, and frankly, Kafria... . You may need to er.. revise some of what you say sometimes, however. I can see the depth and purity of the Wise points you make, but burying it all under that vulgarity and incipient cyncism - I know it's so you'll fit in here, the other Forumshiers being the type of hobbit they are - but you really don't need to persuade them to become respectabile by such clever and subtle means; a straight forward obvious moral approach would suffice, something those dullards can comprehend. The KISS principle, you know. Nonetheless, I'm pleased to hear the noises you're making now. It's music to my ears!

I can but agree, Odo. Orwell has always struck me as someone - once we penetrate the joyful haze of his rapier sharp but never hurtful wit - to be a most honorable kind of hobbit, not in the least homosexual, and such a good looker, heterosexually speaking, not that I ever consider such things. Orwell, you must come along to our next School Council Meeting. I'm sure your views on impropriety in Forumshire would be a valuable contribution to our Cause:-Jane

I'm not sure I'd trust him, Wisey. Look at the last post he made! I think he's a degenerate drunk! Not a respectable trustworthy drunk, not in the least. And not one compliment, not one!
