I must admit, every time I see anything about Rise of the Guardians I catch myself wondering "why did the stupid-looking Legend of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole or whatever it was movie get a sequel?"

Now that should be a wrothy investment. Only slight worry I have is, well lets face it the shark was rubbish, Spielberg upon seeing it for the first time made the very wise choice to not show it all wherever possible. Last time I saw it on TV it did look pretty awful regards the shark bits and this will just show that up even more.

Avengers is the superhero movie just over the horizon (or already there if you live outside the U.S., Russia, China, or Japan) but the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises was just released online and I have to say, this movie is looking better each time we see more of it.

The Dark Knight was pretty great, but I think it was overrated by its devotees. Definitely worth a watch, although TDKR appears to be shaping up to be something quite different.

The trailer for The Wicker Tree didn't look that good, but it's possible that's just a problem with the marketing. I still need to get around to watching the original Wicker Man though, the clips I've seen from it are fantastic and the music is beautiful (thanks Petty

I could never find it at the local Blockbuster and now that's closed. 
Netflix only has it as a DVD, which I'm not subscribed for, but I'll find a copy one day. Probably on Amazon. I'd like to see it on DVD/Blu-ray to really do the film justice.
Fake edit: Hmm, it appears that Amazon has it on instant view: $1.99 to view or $9.99 to buy. It doesn't say if it's the director's cut or not but it's only 88 minutes long so I suspect not.
