Born in Japan, 1751 and died in July 7, 1977 at a grand old age of 226, koi Hanako was the oldest koi fish ever recorded.

Her age was determined in 1966 by removing two of her scales and examining them extensively. At this time, Hanako weighed 7.5 kg (16.5 lbs) and measured 70 cm (27.6 in) in length. Once the scales were fully analyzed, it was determined that she was 215 years old. In July 1974, a study of the growth rings of one of the koi's scales reported that Hanako was 226 years old.

Akhenaten, a pharaoh during Egypt’s 18th Dynasty credited with starting the practice of worshipping one God, fathered six children. He was often portrayed in sculptures and carvings with a thin neck, elongated head, large buttocks, breasts, and even a prominent belly, suggesting pregnancy.
Aromatose excess syndrome can lead to feminine features in men and advanced sexual development in girls. Akhenaten’s daughters are depicted with breasts at age three and seven in some carvings.
Braverman explains that Akhenaten’s elongated head could be due to the gene defect causing craniosynostosis, in which the fibrous joints of the head fuse at an early age and disrupt the process of skull formation. Braverman said that a number of Akhenaten’s relatives—including his daughters, and two other 18th-Dynasty rulers, Queen Hatshepsut and King Tut—all had cranial abnormalities that mimicked craniosynostosis.'- Yale School of Medicine

I knew about the skull deformity, forgot about the hermaphrodite tendencies. I wonder if part of the reaction to his religious reforms were due to response to how different he was? A more normally charismatic leader may have been able to make it stick.

{{ On the otherhand maybe was his physical appearance let him get away with mothballing all the very powerful religious orders for all the Gods he got rid of. I always find the fact that it didn't stick is less suprising than him getting away with it in the first place. There would have been a lot of powerful, influencial people with a vested interest in him not doing it. }}

I felt his odd shaped skull & rather full lips were a sign of something lurking under the suface. He never seemed to quite fit in with other rulers. He should have had long hands/fingers to go with the large lips. Its a trait you can see in people of today. I havent looked into specific biological abnormalities but I bet he was tall also. Everything about him seemed exagerated & if he was confident to go with the looks he could have swung ideas easily with the general population, he might have had more trouble with persons of knowledge & higher ranking individuals.
