Thats not as daft as some people might think Halfy. Maybe if we did some of the things animals do we'd be in better condition. Eating healthier for a start would be a good idea !

so I have been trying a new VPN called Surfshark, its a LOT better and more powerful as a VPN than Bitdefender, but it only does one job, it isn't an anti-virus or have all the useful bits and pieces Bitdefender has. Bitdefender is a good all rounder though, its just that I cant stream tv programs from the UK so it doesn't work for me.

What struck me when that first bubbled up is the bright yellow. We are used to thinking of ancient paint in muted colors, but this is trying to get your attention like a taxi cab. We keep getting told that the statuary and temples were garishly colored, but seeing a reconstruction is very different from seeing the actual thing. Gets the point across.

Chicken wings before Kentucky fried chicken then ? I love the colours, and the people then probably didnt think anything of it except being able to buy hot grub. Today, we think its amazing & beautiful

gosh I missed these frescoes, wow! humanity hasn't changed that much and it makes you realise they were just like us which makes it more haunting for me. Ordinary people ordering a take away, its so sad yet those frescoes are so joyful. What is strange is the beautiful lifelike images of animals compared to the stiff an unnatural paintings of the later mediaeval period, we lost a lot of artistic advances when we lost Pompeii. Its like we lost 500 years of art, because it wasn't until maybe the 15th century when painting became as realistic and naturalistic as the Pompeii artists. Same with the portraits of people.

Im always in awe of mosaics. For me, they are fantastic. Some are so intricate you wonder how long the 'artist' had to work at it, day after day. Breaking tiny precise pieces at the correct shape & size. The other thing that wows me is, The beautifully carved hands of David, by Michelangelo.

To me, they are perfect.
