I don't remember seeing this picture before. I can't quite place it.
It's well into the journey because they're all ragged, dirty, and traveling on foot.
They all look like they've just been through an ordeal and have their weapons out, but Bilbo doesn't appear to have Sting and he appears to be wishing for home, so presumably this wasn't one of his major victories.
And they don't look particularly wet.
Any guesses?

I was puzzled by that one too (I like the colouring though, looks like a painting).
Rocks and everyone sleeping (except Bilbo)- my best guess is somehwere about the Misty Mountains- sheltering from the storm maybe?

That's a pretty nice pic. I'm trying to place where it might be set. It's possible it's just a promo image with no relation to any specific sig but the background has a sort of Eriadorian feel to it. Maybe Thorin is on the lookout for trolls or other enemies early in the first film?

Did they even look at the picture- if thats a beard worthy of a dwarf and a Long Beard then I'm an englishman!

Eldo I have a problem with posting photos, they double up and I cant delete one of them. and the photos are actually in the edit post not the url thing. I dont understand why I cant delete them anymore.

I checked it out and it looks like there were two URLs and two sets of IMG tags in your post. I took out one of the URLs so hopefully it looks okay now.
