No, just a bit of an idiot. Though I feel for anyone who may try to prove he knows the difference between right and wrong. He was brought up by his Uncle Odo, see, and a clear definition, legal or other, of "right" and "wong" is, iat most just an interesting philosophictopic to Mr Banks, who takes a rather interest in grey (silver ?) areas of the law, and what is provable and what's not. How Mirabella became a Sheriff is an interestng story in itself, as Odo brought his niece up too, and her views are rather black and white. Fascinating, all this legal stuff, Blue.  Very Happy

My theory on Mirabella is that she rebelled agianst Odo's moral teachings, love of Eru and his, um, unique attitude to how laws effect him.
I mean lets face it if she shacked up with my psychotic sister she must be rebellion against something!

Um.. let's say "legal insanity" then. The two terms aren't necessarily lexically coterminus. Razz

Orcish?! Mad

That's probably libelous too, but, again, which court in Forumshire would take anything Petty says seriously. Rolling Eyes

1601, Isnt that when they burnt witches ? A thoroughly good ducking, ( I think thats the term, with a D ?) in a pond of wet stuff ? An upsurge of selling brooms took place & Asda had to recall faulty sweepers. In lue of this& the imminent danger of detection we sent ALL our frogs ( with the exception of David Cameron, how did he slip thru ?) to our friendly neighbouring Country....France. On the condition if they sent them back we'd turn them into snails or a packet of Gauloise cigarettes Very Happy

Actually, that must be the 1601 Unwritten Forumshire Act, the unwritten amended and updated Unwritten Forumshire Act of 1527 (or thereabouts)... Either that, or, like the unwritten Forumshire At of 1527, it doesn't exist at all... Mad

And we don't burn witches in Forumshire, unofficiallly speaking... Nod

Oh no ! Forumshire would not lower its self to such a degredation as that ! hoo hoo No ! I should think here would be a safe haven, If not in the "stinking Bog of sublime Happiness" near Damp Bottom Hole, then you find me er us I mean we or even..maybe ...someone ? would probably be in The Muck N Duck brewing up an unlimited supply for all the good residents of Forumshire Very Happy

1601 was the year the Shire was founded. Wink

The statute is right there in the founding document. (In very small print. Sofa )

I blame the voters. I mean, if the weak and helpless (or 'the average voter' as we call them Downhere) want to be attacked, they deserve to have Cameron as Prime Minister. There are less Rich people than poor - so I want to know, who's voting for Cameron if not a majority of the weak and helpless? Nod
