This whole article is amazing but I just want to draw attention to the fact that Scaramucci refers to himself in the third person as "the Mooch".

Seriously though, can you imagine what's going through Reince Priebus' head right now. Dude's closest ally in the administration (Spicey) has just resigned, his authority as Chief of Staff is seriously undercut by the Mooch reporting directly to Trump, and now he has to work* with a guy who publicly threatened to make him resign and told a journalist "Yeah, let me go, though, because I’ve gotta start tweeting some shit to make this guy crazy".



*For now anyway; the writing seems to be on the wall that Priebus won't be working in this position for much longer. Scaramucci clearly wants revenge for having been "cock-blocked for six months" and the Mooch's appointment seems to represent a major shift in the balance of power towards Kushner and Trump's personal loyalists away from Priebus and the people more dedicated to the Republican Party and its causes. The biggest question is how Bannon fits into the picture moving forward since he's no Establishment Republican but he also opposed Scaramucci's appointment.

I just hope that the shame of his completely selling out to Trump follows Priebus for the rest of his career.
