Holy Crap! I could go visit him (he's displayed in the American Museum of Natural History here in NYC) but it would feel ghoulish after that story.

{{I really cant tell, I have seen cases of animals with a double set of ears as a birth defect so could well be legit. I am tempted to say this one is fake however just based on the completely different ear shape of the second set and form the slightly suspicious colour change between the lower and upper forehead area }}}

Around here we call them 'ship cats'.
Had one of those living (stray/runaway) living at grandma's lill farm. Pitch black, yellow eyes and broad paws with one extra 'thumb' on each paw. She looked so cool!
I think double ear kitty is photoshoped too. Neither set of ears seem to be in the right place.

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
this cat is real. it's a defect like having an extra toe. rare, but occurs. i think perhaps these cats are deaf, not sure. but like cats with one blue and one brown/green eye tend to be deaf on the side of the blue eye. ofcourse the ears aren't similar, it's a mutation. but it is real.

Re: Just...................whatever [7]
This tickled me when I read it
"When a husband and a wife fall out of love, the logical next step is divorce. But when one husband thought he could pull a fast one on his wife, the tide changed quickly when he read her reply…
Read their two letters below and see how she won in the end!
“Dear wife,
“I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you forever. I’ve been a good man to you for seven years, but I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. And then your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today… ugh, that was the last straw!
“Last week, you came home and didn’t even notice I had a new haircut, I had cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate quickly in just two minutes and went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps.
“You don’t tell me you love me anymore; you don’t want sex. Whatever the reason, later for you… I’m gone!
“Your EX-husband,
“P.S. Don’t try to find me. Your sister and I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!”
…A few days later, he received this letter in the mail…
“Dear ex-husband,
“Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. In the hellish seven years that we have been married, a good man is a far cry form what you’ve been. I watch soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining. Too bad that it doesn’t work.
“I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the first thing that came to mind was “You look like a girl!” Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can’t say something nice, I didn’t comment.
“And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago. About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, and I prayed it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed $50 from me that morning.
“After all of this, I still loved you and felt we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for $10 million, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone and all I found was your lousy letter.
“Everything happens for a reason, I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won’t get a dime from me. So, take care.
“Signed,
“Your EX-wife, rich as hell and free!”

I was watching "Question Time" last night, BBC1, David Dimbleby, At Torquay. That's your neck of the woods isn't it Malick ?? or at least within spitting distance ? If you had a car or went by train ? Anyway. It got SO heated with the panel all arguing at once I had to switch over, "Newsnight" I think. Even Dimbleybum had a difficult job constraining them. I sorta like Anne Widdecombe but, my gawd, she chirped in whenever & the rest of the mob followed suit

you know Google Earth? well has anyone invented a set of virtual beer goggles that let you wander down a road as if you were really there? Instead of using the little yellow man, you could put on the virtual headpiece and go anywhere in the world. it would be fantastic. and in theory all the hard work with satellites has already been done.

Ha ha no, I'm down near Fareham, Hamsphire so about 3 hours from Torquay by Car (I don't drive), maybe 6 or 7 by Train.
I don't watch Question Time very much, as I usually get confused or angered by some of the nonsense shouted about by the public and panelists.
