{{{You will never make a Holmes I'm afraid Halfy, but I suspect an excellent Watson! Clue 1- they have their back to the camera, Figg would ever post a picture face on. 2- theres a hint of a small bustle! clue 3- the dress, Figg ha sin the past spoke of such a dress and put up pictures of similar ones, if not that actual one. 4- the art style the picture evokes, no accident with Figgs professional knowledge and personal art tastes. Which brings me to the clincher- clue 5- the scenery is clearly Italy -if only she had been decent enough to have been overlooking a large flat Italian plain with a distant brooding mountain range she would have saved me a lot of work!  Mad  Thats typical of Figg that is!  Mad .}}}

{{That works quit well- theres is a similar filter in GIMP only it gives it a painted look rather than a drawn look- it also works rather well with this particular picture}}}

I think I like the one without the canvas filter a bit better. The simulated ridges in the canvas filter feel too big, like I'm looking at a painting from only a few inches away, even though I can see the whole thing. If that makes any sense... scratch study I agree the painting filter is very effective though!

Nice compositing, though I can't agree with Figgs that dude is Aragorn. Looks more like a Pirate of Penzance.

{{Replaced it with a minor tweaked version- mainly fixed some shadows under folk- and I do agree Halfy, wouldn't be quite my choice of Aragorn, though at least he is not classicly handsome- I could imagine him at least being referred to as looking a bit roguish. }}

I think perhaps we are seeing a case of reality guiding fantasy here, no? :brows:

In which case the next challenge is clear... Figgowyn in the same shot with Hairagorn.  Facing each other, her back to us...maybe her near breakdown farewell before he rides off to the Paths of the Dead?  Getting him up on a horse would be no mean feat, but if his lower body is obscured by hers it may be possible.

Laughing I like that...Figgowyn. And "Hairagorn" Razz

How about when Hairagorn is lying down, the gentle singing, the twlilight, then instead of Arwen closing in on him & saying "then it is a good dream" it could be Figglesworth instead ??
