everything. went on a guided tour today, I hate them generally but this one did my head in. talk about verbal trots. stood at the entrance of a place I wanted to go in waiting for a half hour explanation of place, I started to get antsy, I just wanted her to shut it and let me IN. I wanted to wander about but I had to wait for miss verbal trots to have her say, waited another 20 minutes having more talk in each room, felt trapped and bored. on and on and on about boring stuff, it ruined the pleasure. I know most people like a guided tour but I just want to wander at will. blagged my way in because it was by appointment only, I could blag for England. At least I got to see inside.

tour guides are hit and miss. The good ones are more personal tour guides you sign up for. But I generally want to be left alone myself.

That looks a calm place for quietly wandering around I don't really like tour guides but, if it gets you in

world-wide hacking is making me crabbit, that and people who lick their fingers to turn over pages. don't know which is worse.

Its certain words & sayings that tick me off, words like "hun". I'm not your "hun". "Basically" & "At the end of the day" are two more collection of words that irk me

Don't visit Baltimore. Waitresses will "hon" you right and left. It's kind of sweet when you're young and they're old, it's frickin' hysterical when they're young and you're old, but I can see being miffed if you're the same age.

I also get called "dear" by the guy in the corner shop. He says it in a "you've got Dementia" kinda way

I got a new computer in the mail today, and the touchpad has a loose rattle to it so I had to return it for a replacement. Rather irksome end to a miserable work-week during which this friend I have admitted to his alcoholism and is taking an indefinite leave from our weekly tabletop game so he can go to outpatient treatments or something for his failing liver. 

What a cluster-cuss!!

Oh gawd, that doesn't sound fun. Hope your friend gets help & perks up. He could very well feel like shit underneath it all.

speaking of Tea, the talk of breakfast on another thread sent me to the fridge in search of some old cinnamon-raisin bread. Instead I stumbled on the second half of a slice of tres-leches cake left over from a bakery impulse buy well over a week ago. Maybe two. I sniffed it cautiously, and now am eating it.

If you don't hear from me in the next few days, it's because I'm busy dying a slow lingering death from food poisoning. But I *hate* wasting food.

Hello Leelee, I can see us sitting in a green & lush forest, the fingers of sharp golden sunlight filtering thru the tree tops tickling the warm soft earth around our feet. And yes, drinking tea lashings of honey & tea. Sharing a hearty conversation.

Ive done that also Halfy. Not wanting to throw a perfectly lovely looking blackcurrant cheesecake in the bin I ate it, then, I looked at the best by date....it was a month old, but hey, I couldn't see any mould, it didn't smell funny & it tasted ok so.......... & look, I'm still here ! My son reckons ive got a stainless steel bucket for a stomach

If it can still be et, I'll eat it. I don't have Petty's Italian doll to coax me into something better.

skincare. Skincare makes me crabbit. A couple of days ago i went out in the search for new skincare products as i had run out of everything (cleanser, toner, moustirzes the lot). I see now i should've just bought the same ones i ran out of.. fuck... there are so many different brands and types and asdnbk.... anyhow.. i bought three products, and the lady behind the counter promised me that these products were especially gentle to sensitive skin. which i have. i mean....also it was cruealty free, didn't smell like perfume and yeah... seemed ok. so i bought it.. and guess who the fuck woke up today with a hell of a rash all across my face? in addition to having a cold?? me. 


fuck this. at least i have the recipt.. but i have to use my day off to go to the mall and complain. fuck my life.
