Like I did a few days ago when I had to search for my son's milk tooth... which had been pulled the evening before and stupidly left on the table, forgotten, then thrown in the trash with chips and bead crumbs the next day. And THEN it was sorely missed.

Tiny tooths looks a lot like pieces of pizza cheese, or crumbs. I found it at the bottom of the bag, saved the day, put the tooth away, now nobody cares. But I regained the lost mom-points and got another tooth to hoard for no apparent reason.

That looks a stunning place to visit Amarië

It's an impressive (and fairly but not too crowded) visit. The nazi history does taint it some, but learning that Adolf didn't like it there cause he was afraid of heights made the view a bit better.

Finrod took loads of pictures and is planning a huuuuge panorama view after we're back home. I'll post a link if all goes as planned.

(The castle is from a fairy tale based theme park here on Norway though, I just really wanted to post it too, it's  got such distinctive ambassador vibes.)

I'm imagining the poor builders... They pour all that art, engineering, and labor into creating a masterwork of a lifetime, and der Führer says "..meh..too high!"

So... super busy week.

Train to Sheffield tonight for a 3 day workshop for a new project of mine. Back later Thursday, then Friday heading out to RIAT for the airshow on Saturday. Back late Saturday and heading straight to Heathrow for an overnight before heading out to the US for 10 days!

Fun times!

Just on the train to Sheffield. It is too hot and sweaty to be doing this. Feel sorry for the poor bastards that will be near my armpits on the tube!!

Last train i took to Sheffield was pretty grim. Went through all the steel work factories. Place as been cleared up now i think. Going back 40yrs.

Just back on London on my way home. One more day of work until 2 weeks off!

B-52 isn't flying but will get some ground photos. We have just set up... cloud a bit low and a bit rainy but hope it clears.

When you first showed that picture of Shanghai I thought it was the Wall Street bull. I was going "Wha....?" Pollution isn't looking too bad in Beijing. Did you take the bobsled ride down from the Great Wall?
