Love the Yoda one. Is that Bushes of Love a real thing?

I didn't know Bad Lip Reading had a musical side to that. I enjoyed those.
Auralnauts had some good Star Wars parody song video things too.

I remember seeing that and being dumbfounded. You have to think Williams composed the music based on script alone, because surely there was no inspiration to be found from the clips. How much better each of our lives would be if we could hire a composer to lend our daily bumbling some meaning.

Oo. Deeply meta. Far beyond my meager capabilities to pick up on.

Re: Star Wars [2]
Well, as the video title suggested, it was only half a TFA review and more of a general review/opining about the state of Star Wars today. As someone who has spent entirely too much time arguing about movies online, I found his takedown of prequel apologia to be great, but I imagine it would drag for many people. (Seriously though, the ring theory is bullshit, as is every other theory about how intricately planned the SW saga supposedly was, and it's annoyed me ever since I first read it. ) Not sure this really brought anything new to the world of TFA criticism, probably because it's been less than a year since the movie came out. With the prequel reviews, it had been long enough that most people had started to forget those arguments and there was more room for a fresh take on things. But it was nice to see Plinkett back in action, though Mike has seemed to want to move on from Plinkett for a while so I'm okay with it if we don't get Plinkett reviews for every upcoming Star Wars movie. This one covered enough bases to last a while.
Re: Star Wars [2]
Haven't watched it. Hope to get to it later today and post my thoughts.

Re: Star Wars [2]
I agree with Eldo on the deconstruction of the Prequel apologetics, and calling out those click-bait "articles" was great.
The first half, the "state of Star Wars," was the best part. I loved the not so subtle jab at the cancer that is reaction videos. I hadn't thought about it recently, but re-realizing that the Star Wars franchise is now turning into something like the MCU is sickening.
The second half on TFA, like you mentioned Eldo, didn't add too much to what we've already heard. Sprinkling suggestions on how to make the film "better" didn't really convince me here (not that I liked the film as is), it's just that this portion of the review didn't convince me the way it did in the Crystal Skull review or the Prequel reviews. I had forgotten about the comedy/slapstick in TFA, and don't remember it being that awkward in theaters, but those clips were some Grade A Cringe Material.
The RLM style of humor was on point as always.
I don't see myself rewatching this review as many times as I have the Prequel reviews (which is more times than I can count). I thought the review might compel me to rewatch TFA. It didn't. It just cemented the feelings I already had and made me even more committed to not seeing Rogue One.

Oh, yeah, and G Christie trying to talk about Phasma's "character" was hilarious.

Re: Star Wars [2]
I haven't watched the infamous prequel review videos, but I watched TFA three times in the cinema and enjoyed it each time...but I haven't rewatched it since and the more I think about the problems I had with it the less inclined I am to revisit it.
Rogue One looks promising though.
