Llamas are sometimes used as guard animals for other flocks, like sheep. A place I've been to had a guard llama named Caeser, with a sort of black topknot on his white head that stuck up above the flock of sheep like a periscope. Wherever you went you could see that periscope turning to follow your movements. If you got to close he'd sort of honk at you. Caeser was very protective of his adopted flock.
