Re: Tolkien in General
That was really interesting Chris, Im fond of old Norse tales etc myself. Nothing has changed much, 1000s of years ago, strong minded determined women were seen as "warriors" or to be shutted up as they upset the apple cart & caused trouble & unrule. Today, they are drunken foul mouthed girls that are slung out of night clubs at 3am just to start a fight in the street outside! BUT, the initial inner strength that says "you wont bully ME, I'll stand my ground" is still there, lurking in our DNA, our make-up ! It can be turned into a good thing tho, when fighting for a good cause, like charity work, or helping someone. Its often women that are seen on TV trying to clean up a bad neighbourhood of drunks & druggies etc. not the men standing up !

Re: Tolkien in General
Very interesting read, Chris.
Thanks for posting it. I like to read any articles that have some reference to the Zaentz countersuit.
