(Squach spent the day in Florence and is headed to Pisa tomorrow before Venice- seems to be having lots of fun! )

Glad to hear Squach is having fun and that you are regressing Kafraa- always a good thing- I assume being temporarily foot loose and fancy free you have cracked open the buckie? If so cheers! (And sometimes my mind shames me- otherwise it would right now not be trying to get to me to write a what I can only suspect would be a crude joke using the words slippery when wet!)

(the mind is a funny thing - and regressing has also included copious amounts of sherlock fan fiction - some of which has been a bit of an eye opener )

Until reading Sherlock fanfiction I didn't know that there was a fandom out there more fond of slash fiction than Kirk/Spock and Aragorn/Legolas.

Merlin- my mind boggles! (This is what happens when you change things, if theyd kept Merlin old noone would go there!) Although, Morgana- hard to resist a bad woman hell bent on world domination. May have to take look just to make sure I do indeed fully diapprove of that sort of thing.

Be afraid, be VERY afraid! No one is safe from the slash writers. There's a quick learning curve on Livejournal, luckily I googled my way to knowledge of some abbreviations before I went and got myself scarred for life.

Our little one sometimes still hears words incorrectly from when she was termporarily deaf following a terrible viral infecion. She can hear below a whisper now the specialist said so I don't quite get why she hears things wrong at times. But it is so sweet. She made a snow man last night with daddy and i was to look at it. Last year she made a girl snowman from Russia and used one of my best scarves for her head. And last night when i looked out the window I saw a paper cup from Christmas on its head. She came in and said that she made him someone who looks for other snowmen who have no food and gives them some. And the hat was a celebration because he belonged to the Celebration Army(Salvation army). It looks like someone who just woke up and thought it was still NewYears. And she always says she needs to put more 'handsitizer' on her hands to murder the germs.
My oldest girl said one day'mummy my hind legs are so tired," I said she had no hind legs as she was human and she would not talk to me. And then she called me into the living room later saying' mummy come and watch the show,it's Twenty Thousand Leaks Under The Sea.' But my favorite was when we were taking a beautiful walk in the neighborhood and she suddenly said ' mummy is the King's name Bob? I was so taken aback and said we have no King only the Queen and then I looked over and saw a realestate sign that said Bob King. When I explained she was so offended at me for there being no King she marched ahead of me all the way home. The neighbors were listening and smirking but oh well. You get used to it.

How kind Ally, i think every child that exists is a national treasure and precious.

Good to hear she is home safe and well. No doubts we will here of her exploits abroad soon enough (abroad seems to have surivived it at least!).

Maybe this fad never got to Norway, but in the English-language "news" media you periodically hear about people who think they saw the image of Jesus or the Virgin Mary in a burnt piece of toast, or a pattern on their pet's fur, or some other mundane object. And then they get a segment on CNN.
