Taylor ain't horrifying, she's just got nothing new to say.

I love the look on their knackered sweaty faces as they come out the door after the gig. that's a proper craftsman sweat.

You know, it's weird. I was wondering why this song was resonating with me so much, and then I saw someone had written this in the comments to the original.
it's not "clever lonely" like Morissey, or "interesting lonely" like Radiohead. It's "lonely lonely"; like when you're hugged by someone and it somehow makes you sadder.

Haha, this thread seem to have turned kind of schizophrenic. We seem in such different moods.

This is real music. How did we go from this to Wolfgang Fuckadeus Mozart?

Re: Music [3]
Shouldn't there be figured base on that? I hear it in the accompaniment but don't see it on the score.

Re: Music [3]
Listening to Arlo Guthrie celebrate the 50th anniversary of Alice's Restaurant on TV. His voice has smoothed out, and his old band members look exactly the same. I can't wait for the inevitable (and much anticipated) performance of THE SONG. Only heard it, never seen him do it. I saw him in performance once, and he didn't do it. So excited.
He's doing St Jame's infirmary now...actually 'gambler's blues' to the same melody.

Re: Music [3]
Dammit. Walked out to get a snack, when I got back he was halfway through a story. If you know anything about Arlo, you know the whole point of the concert is the stories. Now I'll never get the meaning of the punchline "anyway, that's how I remembered that night."

Re: Music [3]
Been listening to alot of concerts on youtube lately, wishing I was the age I am now, but in the 70's/80's/90's. There are so many artists I would have liked to have seen live, and if there is a heaven, I want it to be filled with my favourite artists who'll take turns running shows in the evenings. The beer will of course be free Tonight I revisit The Highwaymen, which was my favourite group when I was 15-16. May they bring me luck in the very exciting poker tournament I'm playing
