Thats amazing Blue, Animals aren't the daft useless things some people take them for granted over.
That thing about jelly fish is exciting, Will we be eating jelly fish burger & chips in the future to sustain a long life ? Will science develop something from Jelly fish ? A bit freaky tho, I mean, where would you put all these long lifers ? your gonna run out of room surely ?

That would be a bit like chineese medicine. I don't think eating a tiger penis actually increases your virility, other than perhaps by functioning as a placebo. So the answer is probably yes. Someone will try eating it. Razz

It is interesting though that evolution and genetics seems to have found a solution to death from old age.

While the humans have been looking for the elixir of life throughout every period of history, it appears that there is one species of jellyfish that are actually immortal. Turritopsis nutricula, or sometimes – Turritopsis dohrnii, is able to transform its cells from mature state back to immaturity, in other words – back to youth. The medusa leads a regular cycle of life, but after maturing and mating, it reverts back to its initial state – a polyp colony. The process is referred to as “transdifferentiation”, and it basically makes the jellyfish unable to die.

That is a little different from what we'd think of as immortality. if the jellyfish had a mind, it doesn't look like it would survive that process. And since the cells 'reset' from old to immature, this indicates if it was never injured, it would suffer aging.

A hyperlink is a link to another webpage. Like this:

Though sometimes a webpage address is not something very informative, so you can hide it behind a word or two, like this.
(because of the green background you may not be able to tell "like this" is highlighted.)

You blast it like a hyperdrive by clicking on it, and suddenly you're somewhere else! Shocked

A hyperlink is usually a bit of text or similar which when you move your mouse over it lets you click on it and takes you straight to another site- spam and adware make use of it a lot.

Though I wouldn't imply anything unsavory about hyperlinks by linking them to spam and adware. They are simply the way the internet works. A door can let you into prison, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with a door.

And I didnt say all hyperlinks were spam- just that spam and adware to tend to make use of the process a lot.
