The Queen cracked me up Just as I always say, you may think your so special & you look down yer nose at us but, we are all the same underneath the glitz. We were all born squealing mucky little babies, & we'll all go out as wrinkly old fogeys, dribbly & incontinent

does anyone know of a free version of Turnitin? no, NOT Turniton. its a plagiarism and grammar detector. You copy and paste your written work and it checks for split pants and all that jazz.

My perspective is that this is totally unrealistic because all of them appear to be shitting on their clothes instead of bundling them up a bit.
(((And you all thought Petty was being bad when moaning about unrealistic grass colour...)
It's a good message though. We're all just people.

I still find Street View pretty creepy. Fortunately I don't seem to be in any photos of houses where I've lived, though. Though I'm wondering if they caught me in frame when I was out for a walk or something. I know they blur faces but still.
Re: Just...................whatever [4]
I have to admire Google for both their audacity and follow-through. For most people, mapping nearly the whole damn planet by camera equipped vehicles would be something you toy with after a couple beers with friends, and never take the idea seriously. But Google has largely done it: a staggering accomplishment. There's been a few privacy issues, but I forgive them in light of the fulfillment of a breath-taking vision.
I'm also stunned by apple's 3D maps. A lower tier of accomplishment, but impressive nonetheless. And no real privacy issues unless somebody is making giant shrubbery sculptures of their genitalia in their backyard or the like.

Re: Just...................whatever [4]
I get what you mean. It's certainly impressive, and it is both useful and entertaining at times. So I'm not gonna go out protesting the existence of Street View or something. Perhaps in a few more years it'll be something I don't even think twice about, but the idea is still a little weird to me (as are a lot of Internet-related privacy issues that likewise don't stop me from continuing to use the websites behind them ).
Re: Just...................whatever [4]
The wood frog has garnered attention by biologists over the last century because of its freeze tolerance. Antifreeze-like blood lets frogs freeze and thaw with winter's whims. They endure this annual popsicle phase with help from cryoprotectants, substances circulating in their blood that lower the freezing point of their body fluids
.Nature is amazing !!! Glad Im not a freezing frog !

Re: Just...................whatever [4]
Google Earth still has my old work truck in my driveway, and I haven't worked there in 4 or 5 years lol. And my parents had some friends who's house burnt down they built a new one behind where the old one was and Google Earth is still showing the old house... guess they don't update very often.

Yeah, I heard that. It's strange how many seeming impossibilities nature has already solved. Like eternal life. There's a jellyfish that doesn't die of old age, or grow old.
Even I think that looks cold though. Brrr.
