We had a pogo stick as kids and would count to see how many bounces we could do. What we didn't think about was the rubber tip was wearing thin, and eventually slippery steel would meet the slippery smoothed cement of our back courtyard. So I was pushing my limits when the bottom skidded out. The last thing I remember was "97". I can still feel the lump on my forehead.
