The Riddle-Game Empty The Riddle-Game

Post by Forest Shepherd Sun Dec 01, 2013 10:47 am

The Riddle-Game Tumblr_mva75mrbfR1si8jroo1_1280

The Riddle Game!
Rules:

1. Keep your feet out of the water!

2. Only one riddle at a time.

3. Whoever answers the riddle correctly first may ask the next riddle.

4. Anyone asking a riddle must respond to any guesses from other users. If the riddler does not respond within three days to guesseses, the riddle may be skipped. In which case, the last person to have posted a riddle may go.

5. If anyone cannot think of a riddle after correctly guessing the last one,  they may pass, and allow anyone else to go next. However, Gollum gets one of their fingers as a compensation-snack.

6. Hands out of pockets at all times, and no weapons allowed.

7. If a correct guess is confirmed by the riddler, and the guesser does not answer within a week, anyone may go next (but only one at a time).

8. Loser gets eaten. Or must show us the way out of here, their choice!  cheers

The Riddle-Game Tolkien1

To start things off, and mostly because I'm tired and a lousy riddler, I will use my favourite from the thread on the LotRO forums that inspired this one.

Here goes, and goodluck!

I'm a slippery fish in a cloudy sea;
Neither hook nor spear will capture me.
With your hand you must hunt and seize this fish,
And see that it ends up in the dish!

(Hopefully you haven't heard this one before)

I was gonna say salt, though soap probably makes more sense. Nod

Okay, Figgys.

Here's one I found.

On my own I'm 24th,
Two of us and I'm 20,
Three of us and I'm 18.
What am I?
