Super market 'special offers' are making me crabbit.
I was just delving into my sporran in the local supermarket to buy some cat food when I noticed they had a 'special offer' on of two tins for 1.53.
Problem is its only 73p a tin.
So presumably what was special about the offer was the supermarket were making it for themselves to rob my sporran of a further 7p!
So obviously I took two singles instead and when I got to the till the lassie had the cheek to say, "Do you know those are on special offer this week?'
Naturally given she was trying to empty my sporran I gave her a full on crabbit withering stare

For some reason I'm surprised to hear that you have ketchup in Europe. Drowning your food in a sugary sauce with a taste only vaguely reminiscent of the fruit it's ostensibly based on always struck me as a peculiarly American custom.

Oh, it's pretty endemic. I think you can drown your pasta, or whatever, in Heinz pretty much everywhere in the world.
