The Hobbit, LOTR, The Silmarillion book box set?

For what it's worth, they revamped the LOTR covers recently and I do like the new ones much better.  They'll also be the same size/publisher as your version of The Hobbit but they're probably harder to find used than the covers I posted above.

that one look good, although i like when they don't have covers from the film, original cover art. the one Php posted is really good though, although the image is small.

I have a certain nostalgia for that cover because it's the same as my original copy of Fellowship, but I think that the Argonath one is more aesthetically pleasing.  It's your call for your books, though.

aw, you're so sweet ^^ it's the same inside them anyhow, unless you want one with illustrations from either tolkien or Alan Lee or something. you're at least not missing out on anything, and buy each lotr book individually is much more practical when reading other places, don't have to bring a massive brick of a book.

They're all the same, it's just a question of which cover art you prefer.

NB I am jealous of your Alan Lee illustrated edition, Norc. Those come with a hefty price tag though I'm sure.

I really like the stylized grey cover with the trees and the butterflies though.

No not much. Plus I already bought The Hobbit today. I'm one person so I could only read one book at a time, if I buy a second book I can't read both at the same time cuz I'm only one person.

It's too late now. I bought two individual so I'll continue that way. I have 3 more to buy. TTT, ROTK, and The Silmarillion.
