I'm around for about another week and a half before Otakon (which itself is followed very quickly by a summer camping trip that originally would have overlapped with the con). However, I have to go on a crash course of catching up with all the 2013 anime I missed due to my final semester of college.

But what about Wicker Man, Dredd, TH edit, the LotR's edits, and the River Snog vid?  

River Snog? I might have to make time for that one.

I just read some where that they had found some lost footage of the Wicker Man and were adding it to the film on blu-ray.

Really? The Wicker Man is legendary in terms of lost moments- I thought the special edition restored most, if not all of it, just with lower quality copies that had been made from the original- would be good news if they had the original so the quality would be matching throughout.
If its all new stuff even better! More Wicker Man can only be a good thing.

So I finally got around to watching The Wicker Man last night and I have to say it was pretty terrible.  Nicolas Cage was dreadful in the leading role and there were so many laugh-out-loud stupid moments.  I didn't recognize Christopher Lee anywhere in the movie despite Petty going on and on about him, either.  I've got to say this was a disappointing film after all the hype on here.  2/10, would not recommend.

If you watched that first Eldo then you just ruined a great cinema experience!

I also watched Dredd last night, but I'm guessing you don't want to hear me go off on your boy Sylvester Stallone.

 

I capped off my movie marathon by watching The Wizard of Oz. I'm not sure why you hate it so much Dave, I thought James Franco was pretty good in it.
