Yes. But Baltimore is situated really close to the Chespeake Bay and has a large port despite being relatively far from the Ocean.

Eldo - aircraft carriers dont come through very often.... I actually missed the last one. Get lots of other things coming in though... have some pictures of a canadian destroyer (HMCS Iroquois I think) and quite often some tall ships.

During the olympics there were lots of super yachts docked at Canary Wharf... biggest being Paul Allen's (of Microsoft) Octopus.

Funny thing is, there is the smallest little gap with a little bridge that gets them from the Thames in to the docks. I have no idea how they get some of the boats in..... literally inches to spare.

Im not allergic to anything I know of. Never have been before- but yeah woke up this moring with my eyelids glued together and very irittable around about my eyes. Totally choked up too and achy muscles, and annoying scratchy throat

hmm sounds like you need to see the local witchdoctor. glued up itchy eyes is unusual not really virus flu syptoms it sounds as if you were exposed to something bacterial or allergic.

I dont tend to trouble the witchdoctors- been about 4 times in the last 30 years. Most stuff tends to run its course eventually.....

erm hayfever is an allergen so it effects eyes nose and throat. I have never had gunged eyes with a cold but people do with seasonal allergies. it depends whether you have plants doing weird shit where you live or if you have been somewhere you are in contact with odd plants. sometimes people go out without jumpers and catch cold after sweating and then getting cold. or it could be air conditioning filters not being cleaned or allergies to animals. the eyes thing makes me think its not a cold but I am not a witchdoctor so its guessing. I find that if I actually feel ill and flu-y it probably is flu, if you feel ok but are gunged up its probably allergies.

I did look up 'quietly' in my Scots dictionary, but it just says "see- 'the English'.
