it makes me want to make the Hobbit film myself, if I won the lottery I would, in a New York minute. I would film it in all those places Petty, Chris and I posted, I would make it small and intimate, and the book would be respected. I sometimes try to think of my dream team of actors. I love Martin but I wouldnt have chosen him to play Bilbo, his mannerisms are too much his own and it makes me think 'oh look theres Martin acting', rather than saying 'oh look its Bilbo'. Dont get me wrong he is fantastic and I love him, but I wouldnt rehire him.

that looks too beautiful to even exist. In America they'd slap down a bunch of prefab overpriced condos and parking lots and soon enough nothing would be left.

thats pretty much 100% Middle Earth. it looks too pretty to be real, it looks like the Dolomite Mountains.
