Possibly. It did get pretty annoying after a few years, and I eventually decided I didn't like the look. I always got weird looks at the pool and when I tried to use public restrooms, which was always awkward. But it paid off when I was a teenager and a bunch of my friends wanted long rock star hair and would ask me for advice.
Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
and you combed it back? and such thick hair. i am amazed... i am surprised it took you 12 years but then again, it took me 14 year until i dared to cut it
Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
I didn't start growing it out until I was six or so, but that meant that I went six years without a real haircut (just trimming the ends). Incidentally, not liking haircuts was the reason why I decided to grow it out in the first place.
It was definitely miserable in the summer though given how thick my hair is, though.

you didn't like haircuts? they're the best.. strangers shampooing your hair *w*
i can imagine it being a bit uncomfortable in summer , having long hair, not shampooing.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
At the time my mom cut my brother and I's hair.
I don't have anything against them now but I always feel like I should make conversation but don't know what to say.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
My hairdresser is a bloke but the person that does the shampooing is normally a girl. There is one trappy one that just doesn't stop talking. The other is hot and quite shy. Always a pleasure having her lean over to shampoo my hair... sometimes I even 'need' extra conditioner!!
Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
if a hairdresser isn't a good conversation-holder then i dunno why the hell she/he got the job. that's the most important thing.
Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
I thought being good at cutting hair was the most important qualification.
Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
nope. need to make the customer feel comfortable, so that you talk about the way you want your hair in a more relaxed way, open for new ideas perhaps, maybe even a colouring (which costs extra ) and if the customer liked you, it's more likely they'll go back.
Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
ask your hairdresser if she's a clone produced from the DNA of her client's hair. No response? sit in silence the rest of the haircut and every future haircut #tips

So long as they don't charge by the hour Norc. If that is the case then I agree with CC12 35.. get them to shut up and get on with it.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries [2]
Aidan as Ringo is fine by me as long as Eldo is still played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
He's got the shrit ripping down and everything.
