Re: Aliens - Do they... don't they?
I would say that my "secret life" is a welcome escape, but whenever I try to write Forumshire fanfic the things that are bothering me about my life tend to follow me into the secondary world. I can't complain though since that's a nice way to process things.

All I know is that aircraft carriers are somehow involved, and I'm jealous.

Lol... only when they sail down (or up) the river.
And quite the opposite leelee... the boringness of it would cause a mass migration out of here. I try to avoid discussing it for that reason.

Forget that , we need some real fresh air from the rockies Air freshener never works. It is like that Get Smart where they use the Cone of Silence and every word they use just hangs in the air and it doesn't help at all. They soon find out they have to eat their words to make some space.

Haven't had the pleasure of fresh air from the Rockies before so will have to take your word for that. I am currently getting 'fresh air' from my office air conditioning.

I have only known one Lance, he stayed with us, every morning we would put on the old bob and doug Mackenzie music and he would be hosehead. He and his brother Slade who was twenty five and had never spoken, his mother would not allow him to get help from outsiders. He would hold my hand and I would whisper words to him and tell him how to spell them til I got caught. I nearly got tarred and feathered; his mother had everyone against me until it blew over. But Lance was so kind and nice
So your occupation is so boring eh. Are you an accountant or a Banana Republic salesman? I cannot bear it, won't you share or must I stay awake night after night thinking and drinking quantities of tea and cappacino putting my hands through my hair in desperation until I have a twelve foot high brushcut?
No I must get a grip. I will watch reruns of Heddy Wainthropp lady detective and watch Merry from lotr as her sidekick while I write out lists and list, reams of them , of what you could be our Lancebloke.

Well... if you like investigations leelee, then I will give you a clue. I work on the 33rd floor of a building in a place called canary wharf.

Oh that is just dandy. Come down and out, get a job at the Palace or maybe Harod's not there. I will WORRY for you. How could you work there after 911? I could not care less that they worked things out so that the Shard can withstand severe problems. Basil Faulty and Manuel probably wrote all that while on a great deal of wine.
But the question is, what could possibly be boring, what what what? Are you a bathroom attendant, still that could not be boring, or are you a host, or are you a dishwasher, that is never boring, or are you, WHAT ARE YOU?
You are extremely funny and astute, perhaps you are too intelligent for your job. What could it be then? Now if you were from Wessex I might think you are the very last vampire ( the amazing actor with the mesmerizing eyes scared me terribly in the Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett) but that could never be boring.
Have you tried repelling down, that would not be boring and the food in jail there might be extremely interesting.

its defo Torchwood. I bet Lance gets sent out on special ops, go to Kingscross station and wait for the red haired woman with a ginger pussy. then follow her to Diagon Alley which you find through the back entry of Waterstones on Oxford Street. then follow her to Gringotts avoid blowing cover at all costs, if in doubt, dont blow anything even if its 'hot'. then avoid accountants at all cost cos they will turn you into a newt.
thats what Lance does every day I bet.

Re: Aliens - Do they... don't they?
Leelee. There are better targets for terrorists than where I work. Also, there are only 3 buildings in my estate that are that tall so you should be able to work it out with a little investigation.
Figgy... sorry to ruin it but no.

Re: Aliens - Do they... don't they?
Okay, but when are terrorists rational and do their job without screwing something up?
And now that you terrorized our canoeist , safe travel and may Enya's shining star watch over you.
And what are you talking about Eldo, that last tornadoe destroyed entire neighborhoods and you can never know, the top three guys that ride out the storms were killed. So, so terrible. You had better come and live for a bit with one of us out of the path. You can bring the whole bunch and pets too.

Re: Aliens - Do they... don't they?
Thanks for your concern, Leelee. I'm in Maryland though, so well outside of Tornado Alley. We're fortunate enough to not have any neighborhood-leveling strength tornadoes here.
Re: Aliens - Do they... don't they?
No figgs, there isn't unfortunately. Some people with similar interests here and there but not really anyone on the same page.
leelee. Dont really tend to think of that kind of thing. If it happens then it happens. If some nutcase decides to to something silly then... well shit happens!
