I reckon Diana was bumped off- she was dating Dodi, and his father has been an institutional pain in the neck for decades and they are muslim. If the rumours she was pregnant have any value then thats motivation enough- if something had happened to the main royals Harry and Wills, her child would still be next in line as she retained her title. And that could mean the possibility of a Muslim on the throne and as Head of the Church of England. And that just wasnt going to be allowed to happen. It would create a Constitutional crisis.
Plus she couldnt keep her mouth shut and thats always dangerous.

I also think that diplomats have immunity from prosecution and its been a major part of cover ups.

'There should be a statutory ban on the identification of people who are arrested for sexual offences in England and Wales, a committee of MPs has said.

In the past when high profile celebrities have been accused publicly and the whole thing has been thrown out when it actually gets to trial the official response has always been names have to be made public so other victims can feel more confident in coming forward.

So its hard not be cynical here and believe that this complete about turn on this matter by MP's might have something to do with the fact its MP's and Parliament who are now under scrutiny for sexual offences and they dont want those names being made public.
