Buttons that give you an option to see active topics. That is, if there was a way to click to a page that showed all the topics marked as red-leafed for you.

I mean, I get that there's nothing to be done about it. It was just a nice thought for me.

It's generally more useful to go to the "posts since last visit" or "today's active topics" pages, though:

This is all standard phpBB stuff so it works the same as on the forum you linked to and, from a quick glance at that, the links appear to be in the same locations in terms of page layout.

I was guessing he meant for more days that just today. What we got is close but not quite there.

phpBB is used by a lot of places outside of Forumotion too.

The second link I gave ("View posts since last visit") is not limited to just posts from the current day, though if your last visit was less than a day ago you'll only see very recent stuff. On the other hand, if I sign in with an alt account I haven't used in a long time, then I'd get dozens or hundreds of results going back to whenever I last visited with that account.

They are all ok and do what they say. But I visit more than once during the day and usually just for a little while at the time, on different devices, in a different timezone than most, so I am not fully satisfied with either option.


I would have liked a another option as well.

Why is it that I used to be able to log in for maybe a week at a time, and now my log-in only lasts a few hours?

I've been logging in for months at a time for quite a while and nothing's changed here, so I'm suspecting it's on your end somehow. Maybe the guards are just naturally more suspicious of Big City Hobbits?

Well I've got the same problem again, but this time clearing cookies isn't fixing it. Very annoying.

Has something changed with the site since I've been gone? I'm seeing no banner at the top, nobody has profile pictures or signatures, and only half the emojis work... I feel like the site is still holding a bit of a grudge against me for my absence....

Aw... Just posted that and realized referencing corona protection rules would have been better. The two smilies are too close and risk spreading the virus, and by choosing to slam your head into the wall you will burden the health system, which needs to focus their recourses elsewhere. Both are super selfish things to do and you will be publicly shamed online and the newspapers. (True story, at least here.)

Okay, so normally it dies down around here on the weekend. I'm not really sure why, have to imagine people are doing long day trips or something. But now nearly all of us are in the same place we were during the work week, why is it still so quiet on here on the weekends?

I can only figure people use this as work stress relief. But unless I leave the city I work through the weekends so it serves the same purpose for me.

{{ Im probably wrong person to answer that, I tend to post most of the time and dont keep track of days of the week too closely However as up till the virus I worked every wekend Fri- to Monday I did tend to post less then due to sleeping during day and working nights.
