Yes, of course, For a good solid erection you must start off with a firm rigidity. Anything that's liable to flop or collapse is at best, depressing. One must choose their wood by getting a good handle on the shaft & being quite firm. If, under pressure, it doesn't waver or bend then, you are home & dry.

{{ Yes indeed Azriel, once you've got a good stiff bit of wood in your hands you will find it slips into place so much easier. Otherwise you risk it slipping right back out its slot, if it can make it at all. Frankly if that happens you'd be ashamed to call it a proper erection or show it to your friends and neighbours }}}

Home and dry? For an erection is that good or bad? I mean, it's hot work.

Something to (potentially) complain about certainly.

Fortunately I don't have much to complain about regarding my summer, aside from the humidity. But our next-door neighbor lets us use his backyard pool in exchange for mowing the grass, and it's nice to be able to cool off there. I'll be out of town for the better part of two weeks in early August though, first for our annual Delaware trip and then immediately turning around and going to Otakon (which is now in DC).
azriel wrote:Have a fun trip in Spain, Blue
Thanks. Spain has been treating me pretty well so far. Although, after a week in Asturias (on the north coast), with almost humane temperatures, I'm now back in Madrid, where we had 38C yesterday. Too warm by half. Heading off to Catalunya next.
halfwise wrote:See if you can find a real kick-ass tapas bar. I thought they'd be all over the place when I was in Spain, but turns out you have to hunt them down.
Forest Shepherd wrote:tapas bar, like a snack bar?
halfwise wrote:Yes. Though I've learned to be very careful when saying that among parts of america. At least twice while out with folks I've said "Let's go to a tapas bar!" and been completely misconstrued. Not that I mind naked boobies, but when in the mood for one it really doesn't substitute for the other.
Mrs Figg wrote:we have snack bars in Manchester, they sell pie and chips, mushy peas if you are feeling fancy.
Hm. My impression so far is that the spanish are far more likely and perfectly ordinary to order raciones at any said resturant, ie order several plates and then share, than go to a dedicated tapas place. Raciones are rather larger than the tapas plates of my memory as well. Dishes are many of the same though. Calamares, tentacles and all, included. Yum.

Re: Complaints [2]
This is sort of an anti-complaint. Seems to me this is the busiest day we've had on the forum in perhaps the last year.
Okay, a complaint because I was trying to get started on something today, and this damn place delayed me for hours.

I was going to say that we've had a couple other >100 days in the past month or two but I think this one probably takes the cake, yeah. Can't say for sure about the entire year, though.
Edit: derp, posted the right link this time

Re: Complaints [2]
I don't really know what to say. It's been part of the layout of the main page since the beginning. It shows up in the Google Cache for the site as well as copies on Archive.org
https://web.archive.org/web/20171008112144/http://www.hobbitmovieforum.com/
Edit: put the Google Cache link in code tags because the forum's automatic hyperlink-ifying function spazzes out at it.

Re: Complaints [2]
got it. For some reason I had "allow HTML" turned off. But why that should affect random items below the main page is beyond me.

Re: Complaints [2]
Ah, that wasn't it. It was me not reading directions and not being on the main board.

Just look down below on this page. It's not there. It's only on the main board.

Re: Complaints [2]
I don't have a complaint, just a comment that it would be really convenient if the forum had something like you see here: https://www.goodman-games.com/forums/search.php?search_id=unanswered
Buttons that give you an option to see active topics. That is, if there was a way to click to a page that showed all the topics marked as red-leafed for you.
I mean, I get that there's nothing to be done about it. It was just a nice thought for me.
