We're going to see Sting concert today, but we might just drown in the seats due to this lovely sideways rain we're having. Blæh...

I wonder if that's the same Low Pressure with a massive front system that we just had.

I think Id like some rain now, Its been in the high 20's, low 30's temperature for weeks now down here in the South East, We're all gonna die !!!

I suppose it's humid too?

I'd happily take a bit of your heat Az! We've only seen 2 days over 70F (21C) this year

My brother and sister just got back from Havasupai on the north end (I think) of the grand canyon. Go there if you want some heat David! 116 (46.6 C) in the heat of the day, they complained!

We've had humidity & pounding, beating sun. It gives you a headache you cant shift. I'm all for a lovely summer but this is like being cremated. I hope we get a good thunderstorm, break the air up a bit

I echo that sentiment, but I'm not really active enough myself to be the one to file a complaint about someone else disappearing.

yes. the complaint involves not being here enough and missing this werid companionship.

That's as it should be. We need someone around to knock sense into Orwell when he makes his increasingly rare appearances. Figgs has been almost complacent of late.

I remember when complaints were complainings worth complaining... dem fine complaints they were.... them were the days.

I fear with the advent of season 7 of Game of Thrones Blue is hearing the revelry and bitterly drinking himself into oblivion. At least I hope it's that harmless.

I'm hoping he's just busy with academic and/or professional lawyerly responsibilities. IIRC his thesis came due in June-ish, but I'm sure he has plenty of other stuff going on too.

Oh, if his thesis was done in late June, he's still sleeping off his drunk.

Off at my family's cabin without internet having spent all my included mobile data

Just home for a day, now off to Spain, but might be a bit more available there internet wise.

Have had to postponed the thesis delivery for non-school related reasons, but it will be delivered this fall.

Hope you all are having a nice summer too. If not.. complain about it.. this is just the thread for it.

Hah, the new season, and that show in general, have somehow so far managed to pass my awareness by completely without notice. I'll try to keep it that way.
