{{I'm on here almost exclusively on desktop pc. The issue with the smileys happens from time to time- its like it takes it ages sometimes to load them up when you got to select one and you just get nothing or broken jpg thingy till it does- other times (the majority for me) its no problem- but that does happen every so often.}}

Most of the buttons don't work on my Samsung... I have given up with them.

I'm on Firefox. When this site won't load right for me the problem is usually with loading ajax.googleapis.com. If I block it everything runs OK but without the menus and smileys. Other times it's OK without blocking. Shrugging

I don't know what's going on, but I always shake my fist at Google. Mad

Yeah the smileys seem to come and go over the last few months. Eventually Eldo will come on and explain everything but until then I just use what I can see.

I hate photobucket with a passion. There must be some other hosting site surely ? I wish you could just "copy & paste" straight onto here then at least I could stop kicking the kitchen cabinets in my frustration !!

Look up at the youtube button in quick reply. Go to the other side of that little bar and you'll have the "host an image" button. It's servimg, which you may have to register for, but I did that years ago. Anyway, once you've registered, here's all you have to do:

1. click the host an image button.
2. select the image and wait for it to upload
3. copy the url that appears
4. click on the "insert image" button next to the host image button
5. paste in the url.

I haven't personally experienced any issues with the post reply box or smileys (using Chrome on both macOS and Android), so I'm limited in my ability to guess what the issue is. Poking around on the official Forumotion support forum (linked to in the forum's footer) to see if anyone else has reported the same issue on other Forumotion-hosted sites may be useful.

Y'all do remember I retired though, right? Razz

And yeah, Photobucket blows. I switched to primarily using Imgur years ago, although it sometimes results in unsightly compression artifacts. IDK how the forum's native image host compares on that front.
