yeah, I thought he looked weird when I first saw him in Sherlock, but he is just an amazing actor, that is the main reason why I am such a fan dunno about this whole wedding thing though... maybe someone my own age when time comes ?

When I first saw him in Sherlock I thought "Oh thank God! An adult Colin Morgan!" Boyz got skillz! Got to have something more going for them than just a pretty face.

I can lust over a man, ive got a few in my head now!, but, I know its only an illusion. A wisp of cloud that vanishes,yet lingers in your imagination,thats all.
As for women, I actually DONT get jealous, or bitchy. If men or women are good at what they do, thats what shines out for me, thats what makes them "beautiful" to me. IF either a man,OR a woman is a shallow minded, spiteful,deceitful, small minded, obnoxious in any way, THATS what will make me walk away,no matter HOW beautiful (in looks) they are! I wont argue or try to make them see a different point of view,(some people cant) Il just say "cheerio" & bugger off. My daughter loves watching "Housewives of Orange county", I cant. Im past the point of saying how silly these women are, I just laugh as I feel they have lost sight of things more precious.

Maybe I can get an answer to a question thats been burning in my mind for years from the ladies here . This is My Opinion now ,,, why does it seem that if you treat a woman really , really good , they seem to just run wild on you and show you know respect , but if you treat them ,I wouldnt say badly ,but maybe not as well as you think they should be treated , that they treat you like a king as a consequence and even if you did want to get rid of them you cant drive them off with the worst behavior .

I only THINK, its cos these women dont value themselves enough,so they allow guys to take the lead, even in a Caveman respect.Being a "man" is a solid state that a woman can "see",He struts around, being in control, a control that SOME women cant see themselves doing ?They see a man succseeds in a way a woman might not feel strong enough that she can do ? The women who take & take no matter how good to them you are, or treat you like shit, are, in IMO spoilt brats, were spoilt as kids, probably in a gang at school & bullied others, are shallow & havnt lived life. Maybe, these girls are pretty ? & are shallow enough to think looks win over substance? that all you need is a sweet face to get by in life ? All these views often change as you get older,live life & see that the ideas you once had,really are not the right ones. Dont know if Im right or wrong ? but thats how I see it.

Yes, women are definitely in competition with other women. Men are just an excuse. We're just way to easy to be worth competing for. Hence the fascination with gay men.

Men and women aren't that different really. There are hairy knuckled cave(wo)men and dolled up bimbos in both "lairs". Self-esteem, self-worth, education, values, family history, goals, dreams, personality, mind set, the ability to imagine yourself in someone else's shoes, the choices you make and choices made for you... there are many reasons why you are who you are.

I think the fascination with gay men is, based on spending time reading fan fiction at Livejournal, is that you have not one but two men (ok, sometimes more) who show emotions and feelings openly. (Which I believe is also related to why people cry at weddings...)

The there is the sex, of course, same as men's fascination with lesbian women.

And there is no denying that some men too strut about and compete with other men.

On more than one occasion I've seen a woman go after a gay man (who wasn't obviously gay), beating her head against him, always coming back for more. He was a challenge, you see. And I've found it's the women I show no interest in who are the most persistent. Usually the minute you show real interest the dratted woman disappears.

Men are quite different: if we have any interest at all, the moment you pat us on the head we'll curl right up in your lap. I think it's because women are intrinsically cute and men are just walking stovepipes.

Invitations for what?! The wedding of course. You don't think that after months of devotion we'll believe a lukewarm remark about Cumberbums carries any weight? You've just got wedding jitters, dear...just let the thing roll along on schedule and you'll be fine.

just a few of my own observations, this is what I think happened over thousands of years
women cant dominate physically, dont have the upper body strength, so they had to survive with cunning and diplomacy to get what they needed and wanted. they developed verbal skills to those ends. they were in fierce competition with other females for the 'best' spot near the fire and the dominant male. ergo some of the most vicious and nasty experiences of my life have come from other women trying to get rid of the 'threat'. whether its in their imagination or not. Men have been nasty in trying to 'control' my movements or physical freedoms, way I dress etc, its a different set of 'threats'. Both nasty both ancient behaviours coming from cultue society I dont know I am not a trickcyclist.
hell for me is an office full of women to be honest. its rough. and i think the attraction to gay men is that a woman can relax, not be 'on show', be herself have a laugh, be silly and fluffy, go shopping with a guy who will be brutally honest with no issues.
I love having female as well as male friends to me its the person that counts, I am not personally threatened by beautiful women because I am happy with myself, I can honestly say I have never been jealous of another woman, never. Its not in my nature, I have thought someone damn lucky or I have wished to be more like that person, but jealous, no, not ever, which is strange but true. The only time I ever got close to feeling envy was seeing Miranda Otto playing Eowyn in LOTR, part of the little girl who likes to play dress up in me thought, ohh I wish that was me. But thats the only time, so no I wont be bitching about Tauriel because she is cute, its not something that would cross my mind honestly.
