I have a lot (okay, a lot is a bit too much) guy friends, and I've come to the conclusion that when they ditch me or does something, wrong, it's because they complete idiots. I mean.. sent a text "I'll pick you up" and he interpret it as "I'll pick you up afterwards" so then he just took bus, which takes ages, while I waited at home for the text "I'm ready" (he's almost my neighbor)... which I never got.. LOL.

Listen up guys. If you make your lady feel like Queen Galadriel, and comment on her lovely hair and other nice little compliments every so often, you will never go wrong (well, hardly ever) . Its when we feel ignored is the problem. thats why we hate football.

You can also get treated like a pushover. The key is timing: at first women need to be almost ignored or they think you're a milksop, then at some undefinable point you have to start being nice to them. But you gotta nail the timing just right, there's like a 30 second window.

guys are so much simpler: like a dog - you feed us or pet us ONCE, and we'll follow you around wagging our tails forever. Happily chase down all the sticks you throw at us to make us go away, etc. Eventually we may wear you down. EDIT: and you'll take us home with you to the dismay of your family and your everlasting regret. (just had to complete the simile)

Best thing is to just ignore us completely and go make out with your girlfriends, so long as you let us watch.

I second and quite possbly third that last point Halfwise.

And sadly you are quite right Halfwise- we are basically simple creatues at heart and quite frankly when we are left without a companion for any length of time we are pretty much feckless and can quite happily go from one week to the next thinking very little if anything at all.
Most of what we do is to impress women- so when that is absent there is not really much else we actually do.

Oh I dont think there is an 'unbreakable' thread on forumshire- besies its Halfy's own fault- he is supposed to provide us with quantm stuff to fry ou minds with. Instead he's swanning about working for a living.

Guys in US high-school tv series are usually 35 year olds filled with botox Norc.

Oh, I'm just blathering.

But Norc, there still are princes. You have to grab them young when sweet innocence is still seen as a virtue. For some reason nobody respects a sweet innocent older man until his hair goes gray and he can barely walk.

Im still trying to work out if the fallen women are happly married and fallen or seperate women from the married ones?
