The colours on the Swedish one is even brighter in the sunlight! I get blinded by the pictures alone, though it seems there are other types that aren't quite so "look I am wearing our flag! Tjolahoppsan hoo, my dress is blinding youuu!"

Bit dandyish for my tastes. Couldnt go marching across the glens through the heather and the thistles and the bogs in that!

The traditional womans Highland Dess is suprisingly similar to the Fjordian.

That's a pretty dress. Fabric seems much lighter, especially the top. Oh there you have added two more of them, they are nice too.

Is kilt and socks really the best outfit to wear when walking through thistles?

Yeah, not sure that dress is any solution for bogs and thistles, but you can put a woman in anything so long as she's got that long flowing hair and she'll look good.

Kilts are water proof and would probably deflect a direct meteorite strike (they are also blooming heavy). The kilt goes to just below the knee, the socks- equally thick and resilant go from there down to protect the lower half of the legs. Traditionally a kilt was just the lower part of the whole plaid (the rest being worn over one shoulder) unfolded it is more than big enough to roll your self up in so you can sleep warm, dry and snug outdoors.

Yeah, her whole family was trying to stop the marriage due to the obvious fact that the clever looking chap is a gold-digger, but they had nothing that could be proved in court.

I dont know who is worse, the family obviously afraid of losing cash, or the clever gold digger, or her plastic surgion, poor lady, money really doesnt make you happy. well maybe it helps a bit, I wouldnt say no to a million here and there, for shoes mainly, I do a lot of toe curling, ruins them it does, the shoes, not the toes.

kofta is so beutiful! I wish I had some sàpmi in me but i don't.. or I should check it out, maybe someone some generations back.. you never know my friend has this really gorgeous kofte which her mom made. The sami people aren't as strict with their "suits" so much more variations.
