Oh that Eldo, knows just what to say to drive the girls (and boys I imagine) crazy! Such a progressive young man.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries
hey, look who appeared in my norwegian class
okay. I just have to clear something up here. I appologize for the lack of continuty. But. I seem to never make up my mind who of the two dapper policehobbits that should have a split chin. I have drawings (like here) with Eldo having it, but then there are stuff where Ringo has it. Also, one where both. so help me decide. who. seriously. I can't make up my mind and when I think I have I always forget. *facepalm* also, Ringo i drew initally smaller than Eldo, but then, i changed it since he's supposed to be the flirt-at-all and military kick ass babe, so tall (that's why I seem to draw him in the middle all the time, because it looks good with tall people in the middle). Not that Eldo is short, no he's tall too. Agent Nora is the short one. Also. Now, finally, I think I've actually settled on the look for Nora (by going back to the original first drawing, where she has a rounder face and a marked chin).
Also. some things that are certain. Ringo is having a gap between his teeth. Eldo has the most prominant cheekbones although Ringo has some too. Ringo has a square head while Eldo more oval. Ringo has a ponty nose and sideburns and supercurls, Eldo has heavy, bright eyes, light, thin eyebrows and straight, short hair, well comed.
i don't know if I want to add some samples..
i just realised.. this is like stuff you lot might not see..
edit:also, i seem to have drawn Ringo with both dark blue and dark brown eyes, I've settled with dark brown I think.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries
Thanks for posting more of your art, Nora! Is that Mrs Figg on the left eyeing up Eldo?
I think having Ringo be taller than Eldo is a good idea. As for the split chin, I don't know which of them should have it. I can't say I'd really thought about that before.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries
yes, it's mrs Figg
well, I'm gonna add some samples then:
my all time favourite of Eldo is this. I like the squariness, althouhg I didn't settle for it. This kind of the look I am always going for.. like, yeah, it's the first drawing, and it has just stayed with me (escpesially the eyes, it's always the eyes)
he has split chin:
but the two I've posted now (edited one in while Eldo was replying) the one in the spoiler no split ching.
then tere is my favourite of Ringo must be this one. Here he has a split chin though,
here's one of my second favourites without the chin thing, i quite like that too.
the thing is, I've mostly drawn Eldo with split-ching, but sometimes Ringo too.. But it took me longer to come to a final look with Ringo (I think I've settled them all now really) so i kind of experminted a bit... But mostly he hasn't got one. the thing is, both can't have it, it makes it a bit weird. Both look good without and with......

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries
Ooh, I really like the drawing in the spoiler tags! Everyone's looking very fine. I have to ask though, should Agent Nora have close-cropped hair or long hair? I've been imagining it as long, kinda curly-ish blonde hair lately. Similar to the pencil drawing you posted, but a lighter color.
I think that the split chin is more fitting for Ringo's face and jawline, but like you said, they both look good with it.

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries
omg.. inner turmoil!!! I sometimes get it just right on Eldo, but sometimes it's just perfect on Ringo. Also I've drawn it more on Eldo than ringo.. and omgfgndb ... I'll figure it out, hopefully.
the short hair was just a phase he's having long, curly, blond hair. not too blond, a kind of sandy colour

Re: The Needlehole Mysteries
In my head Ringo has split chin. (Which sound rather painful...)
Eldo not so much, since I imagine him a bit more like Eldo's avatars.
And oh my God, the Ambassador looks just like Debra Morgan from Dexter! (Jennifer Carpenter)

Is that me in the fetching bunnit (hat) with the pipe?
ps I think Ringo should have the split chin- more in keeping with his dashing military man personna. Eldos a lore master, he'd only use his to keep pens in.

I'm not sure if I should take that personally or not, Amarie.
