I've been side-tracked by a time-intensive job on the cabin. I wanted to add some scandinavian flavour, so I've been carving a kind of sea-dragon or something into the fascia.

Thanks!
There is a couple pictures of me and some of my family floating around somewhere, but I tried to find them just now and 10 minutes of searching didn't reveal anything... Hm... where did those go?

No I'm afraid I don't. I'm not a cooper!
Besides, I've heard that Scotshobbit barrels tend to get a bit... ripe.
I had to look up what Gimle was! But Trudvang I recognized from a forthcoming Norwegian RPG on Kickstarter. It's got lovely artwork: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1256540796/trudvang-chroniclesAmarie wrote:*insert big snake innuendo here*

You're right though, I should name the cabin. Most guys name their erections after all, right?

Re: The Great Cabin Erection!
So what's the dividing line between a cabin and a house in the woods?
(to me the answer is 'drywall', but it's probably called different things in different places).

Re: The Great Cabin Erection!
Hm, to me it is more about location than any constructional difference. Although, I think here tou'd not call it a cabin if there was permanent habitation. It is somewhere you go for periods when you have time off
Definition:
Definition:
a small wooden shelter or house in a wild or remote area.
