At the very bottom of the main page of the forum you can see which birthdays are coming up in the next week. They're also listed on people's profiles if they've made their birthday available.

erm I need to translate a long thing from German to English. Is there a translation thingy that does paragraphs at a time? I sometimes use the translation things but just for single words, is there a translator for larger amounts of text?

Most of the main translators do words or paragraphs- just copy and paste the whole paragraph into the translation box.

Google Translate can do longer passages of text but it doesn't always turn out coherent.

My grouchiness leelee either just nearly got my head beaten in, or it just saved me from getting my head beaten in. I'm not quite sure.

I am typing this away from home and between leaving home and where I now am I had an encounter with three young lads in a work van.
I was walking along the pavement they decided to drive over it to go up a driveway.
As pedestrian I had right of way -they should have let me pass before reversing. But they didn't. Never mind this getting my crabbit up, it really annoyed them that I hadn't let them go first. In fact it annoyed one of them so much they got out the van, closely followed by his two rather bulky mates. And with a face redder than one of Dave's beetroots he unleashed a series of sweary violence so intense Norc would have covered her ears.

And what did I do when confronted by this angry youth and his two mates? My brain decided to paraphrase a line from Bad Day in Black Rock, no really. And before I could stop it my mouth had joined in the treachery and I found myself saying, "a mans only as big as what annoys him. I'm not annoyed, but you seem pretty fucking annoyed."
This was met, quite rightly, with blank stares and confusion- but it did shut him up while he tried to work it out- then before I could do anything about it my feet decided to start walking me nonchalantly away from them, even turning my back on them, and my mouth completed the treason by saying, "I'll leave you to work that one out. But here's a hint, it wasn't a fucking compliment."

Somehow I got away with. However it has occurred to me that my route home takes me right by the same place, and they might have worked it out by then!

Ahhh, brain vs brawn . I am sure you have nothing to worry about, they will still be at home with their mom's dictionary, trying to find what akumpli meant.

I would buy a false beard and a hat Petty, that way they wont recognize you. men in white vans dont like looking at people with beards, it reminds them of their wives. I wouldnt mention that though.

I survived! They were still there but there was on older guy on site who was working on the roof when I walked past on the way home. He got sight of me and shouted "Hey! Its Spencer Tracy. Nice one!"

Petty, I am rather worried for you. i dont like them, and I hope they are not up to mischief. I pray your guardian angel watches over you and theirs give them a bunch of fives. hugs and I apologize. I just was a trifle shocked( oh alright, SHOCKED ) by your comment. I should have known you would have your reasons.
