Sadly the buttons couldn't be renamed, so you'll have to be crabbit the old fashioned way; with words and gestures.

Also, I wonder if clicking a button rather than posting an reply may make us less active as a forum, and that might lead to forumotion not offering us free domain renewal.

With only about 5 of us truly active we're looking at about E1000 each I'd say.

My stubborn crabbit refusal to own a mobile phone is proving a problem- every time I get to the bit where it sends a conformation text I cant get it, as it must be set up for mobiles only as it doesnt call my landline with a code. So I am enlisting the aid of Nagual, well his credit card anyway to make a payment on my behalf, so it may show up as his account incase that seems odd to you Amarie- its just a result of my crabbit refusal to engage with mobiles, not a scam! }}

It seems to me your problems are more related to a crabbit refusal to own a credit card! I didn't recognize either of those services ("stripe"?) so figured they wouldn't work for me anyway.

I dont think I have actually contributed before so did the most it would allow me to do which I think covered 4000 credits.

Advanced packaged (for no ads and the possibility omto have our own domain name) purchased and the domain name is in the process of being renewed. We usually get the domain name for free becauce we're an active forum. If that is true this year as well remains to be seen. 

Credits can be used next year. It's an investment in our future! Or... something like that.

How is it that we get the domain name for free if we pay for not having commercials? I suppose it's a public service thingy that they don't want to interfere with an active forum.

Bit blurry, could you supply the interpretation we are to get from that? Or is it that we just need a total of 6240 credits per year?

They changed this package deal a couple years ago. 

The advanced package gives us the option to have our own domain name. The domain name costs extra. The actual name of this forum is hobbitmovie.forumotion.com. 

It seems they didn’t offer us free domain name this year. Oh well...

It's a behind the scenes thing as long as we pay for advanced or premium package and a domain name. 

The name hobbitmovieforum.com won the vote some years ago.  Then recently we changed to forumshire.com.

I had problems too, the first two buttons refused payment, but the ETOXIC SARL one, which sounds a bit dodgy, allowed payment and it went through last night. SKRILL and STRIPE didn't work, but when I looked just now the ETOXIC SARL one has disappeared. whats going on?
