Incidentally, the 'Broady' mentioned may in fact be the suburb I grew up in from 2 to 15.

Btw towies are tow truck drivers. Bingle is a prang - or a car accident if you like. And chockers is short for choc-a-block. Meaning in the circumstances above a lot of traffic and that it's blocked. It's also used in terms like: "I was choc-a-block up the Missus last night". This kind of statement is where I beleve it derives from! I'll leave it to you, Azriel, to work out what that means.

I didn't have any trouble working it out.  the only difficult thing is whether Broady was a street or a place. Being told it was a traffic report makes all the difference.

erm strangely I didnt need Google translate for all that. maybe its a Northern thing? most Southerners think a Towie is a tv show.
