I've been traveling for most of the past week and will continue to for at least another week or so. Currently in Chicago. I know Norc is out of town as well.

Thanks, Blue. It's going pretty well so far. Chicago was a fun half-day. There was another 6.5 ish hours of driving after that, but now I get several days without any major driving.

Moi? No, not really. Well, not more than I usually am. (I'm getting to realize that my normal stress level is pretty high.) As I talked about prevously there was this girl I really liked, but it didn't work out. But I'm fine. I'm over it. I've been busy meeting getting to know new people and so on, which has been nice. And, to be honest, it is a lot easier to deal with people when you're not in love with them.

Hormones are hallucinogenic.  You only see this in retrospect, but once you've come to recognize it the recovery is much easier.  Being 'in love' is a really fun fraud of nature.  Loving is real, but takes time and maybe you have to be tricked into it. Hormones are good for that but often misfire. Accept that you've been a victim of one of nature's well intended misfires and carry on.

Its easier to deal with people if your nowhere near them. "In love" is a temporary state only. Loving something can go on & on. One is temporary powerful the other, permanently powerful. Both are as strong as each other its just length of time that defines it. Better than being in love is, knowing someone loves you, for what you are, for what you may become.
