Mm. That's very true. I guess we all float in and out a bit depending on how busy we are. I do kind of miss the old days of people being around a bit more, we all seem a bit busy at the moment, although I guess that goes kind of in cycles too. Not that I'm complaining. If people are around when they have the time and the interest you can't really ask for more.  

I thought norc made a good point a while ago about trying to find a time that fits and try to get a few people on the forum at the same time, but that was before Petty had his hard drive failure and the awards seemed right around the corner so I think we settled for that. Perhaps that could be a fun idea to try out at some point, unless Petty is up and running with the awards again.

And you're right, it does kind of feel like coming home.

As to the awards they will be happening as soon as is feasible- but I need to be working long enough to actually get paid (bloody monthly pay ) at which point I can purchase a new HD large enough for all the programs and outputted files necessary. The there is the small matter of having to remake all the stuff I lost from scratch for the awards show But it will happen, eventually.

Funny you should mention money, Petty, cause I have a great idea. Now that you are working, you should have access to broom closets and cupboards and such. That means you can rent out your barrel full time. Barrels is a big thing in camping sites it seems.

I also have photo evidence of Nessie having moved to Funtana, Croatia so there's a vacant spot for a scary monster in Loch Ness.

As to living in a wardrobe- are you mad Amarie?- where would I put my jacuzzi? You have no idea how hard it is to plumb in the buckie. (And I'm not going back to supplying my own bubbles, the bill in beans was crippling )

I live in the belief that before the Thing in my fridge escapes and lays waste to Forumshire Figg will give my barrel a good scrubbing Its just a matter of charm and persuasion (anyone know where I can get hold of either?)

I was gong to say my usual birthday wishes of happy drinking, but as you don't drink, and I have absolutely no idea how sober people celebrate birthdays (or why they'd want too, you'd be able to remember it the next day! ) so um, have a great time and lots of fun, um, doing whatever it is sober people do with their birthdays! }}}

I was thinking about something similar in the days right before my birthday. So many people know me for being young (and doing things while young) but that's more and more in the past now, including with forum things. Even though 21 is the big milestone in some ways this birthday made me feel older much moreso than last year's.

Oops, I've been absent of course. Happy late birthday! Does being 22 make you want to listen to Taylor Swift and fire off small-caliber pistols? I hope not!
